Do I fix it, or do I free it?

Updated: Oct 2

Something I can admit about those of us born under the sign of the bull : we have legendary attachment issues. I know some of you are rushing to disagree, but just stay with me for a minute.

You may know us for being notoriusly rigid about our boundaries, which gives the impression of us being comfortable with disconnection. But for all of you who are dealing with a Taurus, let me put you on game:

It’s just a defense mechanism.

Yup. It really is. And that defense mechanism is necessary for one of the most sensitive & emotional of the zodiac signs. Like, we’re top 3 and not 3. Because when we are bonded or attached with something that represents stability, reliability and safety, the worst thing in the world is losing that. Which is why we follow the Taurus guidelines that states “go immediately into fix it mode”. Which is where the “do I fix it or free it” question comes from. How much energy do we put into fixing? Well it varies. Some things we can’t see not trying to fix, some things we try to assess if fixing will wield the desired result and some things just exhaust our drive, and we just free it. Its a challenging state of being to be in, because it requires a huge amount of faith. Remember, that reliability has to turn into risk. What if the new doesn’t match up to the stability that proceeded it?

Oh I hope you’re not reading this expecting some sort of antidote. Cuz sheeeeiit, iono how to navigate this! I’m in the middle of it now, just trying to figure it out day by day. I count it as a win that I’m even able to identify what exactly the hell this feeling is.

All I can do is to just keep waking up.

So you should do the same.

Peace & Love
